Day 11 – Inviting others to join us.

I heard about something wonderful that was going on last Sunday. One of our local churches had revamped the plan for a traditional sermon, and asked all those who would usually attend with the intention of hearing this weeks’ message, to meet in the parking lot instead.
This particular Sunday morning they would all step out into our community and find a way to make a difference through Acts of Kindness.

What opportunities exist in our weekly schedules to incorporate Acts of Kindness into our lives where we can invite other’s to join us? Are there groups or teams that you belong to that would love an idea like this? You could bring it to them, and see where it goes. We have nothing to lose by simply making the suggestion… and yet there are so many people who could benefit.

Get creative and have fun!

With love and gratitude,
Natalie. xo

The past few Peace-isms (as I call Natalie’s daily insights) have got me thinking: I’d love to hear how people were the receivers of an act of kindness, and in what way did it influence the rest of the day, week, or personal outlook.

Often, it is the simplest human interactions that illicit a smile and reaffirm a belief that people are great, if given the opportunity.
